Aolan confirmed that a new 75L agricultural sprayer drone, model AL4-75, is coming soon. Positioned as the largest-payload machine in the Aolan crop protection range, the AL4-75 carries a 75-litre / 75 kg payload class — more than double the tank of the company’s 30L workhorse and above its 50L flagship class.
Aolan (Shandong Aolan Drone Science And Technology Co., Ltd.) has built agricultural sprayer drones since 2016 and has sprayed more than 800,000 hectares with its own 100-pilot operations team. Why Aolan Is Moving to a 75L Payload Class
In aerial application, daily output is frequently limited not by flight time but by how often the aircraft must return for pesticide and battery changes. A larger tank class reduces the number of refill stops per shift, which matters most where field blocks are large, where water for mixing is scarce, or where the distance between the loading point and the work area is long.
That is the case Aolan is making with the AL4-75: a 75-litre / 75 kg class aimed at growers, cooperatives, plantations and application service contractors who today run two machines — or one machine with frequent reloading — to keep pace with the spray calendar.

Platform Technology Carried Into the New Class
The AL4-75 is expected to inherit the engineering platform used across Aolan’s current agricultural sprayer drones, which includes:
Airframe and structure
The body carries an IP67 rating: dust- and pesticide-resistant, and washable directly with water. The distribution board is rated IPX7, with detachable spraying and spreading connectors so one airframe can switch working devices. The oblique folding design reduces stored volume by around 60% compared with same-capacity machines, and the arms use a one-button buckle. The frame is a 6061 aluminium alloy chain structure, and the folding parts are nylon, integrally injection moulded, so they do not develop play after long-term use.
Power and battery
The pesticide tank is pluggable, so it can be exchanged between chemicals to prevent cross-contamination. Smart batteries support 3C fast charging with a rated life of more than 1,000 cycles, and the smart charger brings a pack to full charge in around 20 minutes — four batteries support continuous operation through a working day. Power modules and the distribution board use quick-plug connectors, and an anti-sparking module protects the high-current connection.
Flight autonomy, safety and data
The platform supports autonomous flight and AB-point flight. Terrain-following radar detects the ground environment and adjusts flight height automatically; obstacle-avoidance radar perceives obstacles regardless of dust or light conditions. A 120° FPV camera with LED lighting supports night operation. Operating data — acreage worked, spray flow, operating time and location — is monitored in real time on Aolan’s cloud platform, which operators use for scheduling and record-keeping. The control app supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese, with route planning.
Application efficiency
Aolan sprayer drones use ultra-low-volume application at roughly 300–500 ml per mu including water, which the company states improves pesticide utilisation by more than 30% compared with conventional application. With spare batteries and a charger, one machine can work continuously for a full day and cover 60–150 hectares.
